Yuri comes from a canon that deals heavily with fantasy war themes such as death, body horror, and PTSD. His own personal background is that of a poor commoner who worked his way into an "underground lord" position through sex work and shady politicking; methods he still employs to get what he needs, but for which he carries a lot of internalised self-loathing. Please let me know if you’d like to avoid any of these topics ICly and/or OOCly, and I will absolutely make sure to alter my tags accordingly.

Yuri will also use canon-appropriate terminology to refer to his (and his mother's) history of sex work. His mother is referred to as "a prostitute" in canon, which reflects the game's ye olde vibes and old-timey nature, and will be part of his casual vocabulary if it ever comes up. If you'd like me to avoid ICly using such dated terms with your character, or would like to avoid the CR heading in a direction where he'd talk about his self-loathing re: sex work, please let me know here so we can figure something out!
